Movies
As a kid I watched plenty of Television, but hardly any movies. I was remarkably fortunate to have parents who chose not to have a video cassette player or any other device that would allow one to play movies proactively.
"Nerdy" as it sounds, I hardly watched any movies until 1999. Once I was older (no longer a kid under parental "guidance"), the reason was because I was lacking the required time and resources. I chose not to acquire even a television (and associated paraphernalia such as a VCR and a DVD player) for quite a while. Eventually I did acquire these things. Thereafter I decided to "catch up" on a lifetime of missed movies - for the sake of completeness (so as not to be clueless when I come across movie allusions, for example). Consequently, I spent an incredible amount of time watching movies in bulk. Since I was doing this "from scratch" (so to speak), I decided to actually track the movies I was watching.
The following is an almost complete (alphabetically sorted) list of movies I watched in the year 2000. I watched at least as many in the following year, but it got really boring to track the movies I watch beyond that - the meaninglessness of doing so weighed me down.
